Scribd rolls e-presses today for content sellers

Start-up Scribd introduced today a server that enables anyone to upload content and charge for it, the NYTimes reports. Scribd is a cross between vanity publishing, social community and YouTube. Authors and publishers set their prices for their content and keep 80 percent of what they sell.
